A1 Broadcast Engineer
Worked as am A1 broadcast engineer on a primtime television show. This opportunity allowed me to be part of a 2 month long installation team.
we connected three properties via 3rd party isp, microwave transmission and fiber. all of which ran to the command and control room, audio mix rooms, and robocam control rooms.
while the show was running, our audio team captured a live-to-tape show line of the show to be televised in less than 24 hours. this involved the capturing of ove 180 microphones, which included plant mics, lavs and an an eng crew. all mixed live to the director’s quing, two linked cl5 mixing consoles (x2 rooms; mix a & mix b).
